In my twenty stories, which entertain and touch the heart, I write about life. Sometimes thoughtful, sometimes amusing – but always inspiring.
The violet of a sunset becomes a sign of fate; an elderly woman indulges in the dance of her life; and an unusual wedding anniversary gift sends a husband into a tailspin. In my five stories I write about a season that is able to bring people closer together like no other.
When winter arrives, the days get shorter and the nights longer, we retreat and pause. We reflect on what really counts – the support for each other, the togetherness and the preciousness of time. The ice breaks in our hearts and suddenly we encounter a piece of home when we least expect it. A miracle happens, even though we no longer believed in it. When clouds of worry are brewing over us and every day seems dark and dreary, then they are there for us - our friends. They accompany us like a rainbow that makes us forget the gray of the sky and gives the dark days colors of hope and confidence again.
Friends find a new beginning where we only see the end.
Friends give us answers when life no longer gives us.
Friends hold on to our dreams when we lack the strength to do so.  And friends provide moments of happiness when we need them most and we find them where we never expected them ...
